Dr. Laura Tanzini is a doctoral-level public health professional, licensed clinician, and nationally recognized expert in trauma and women’s mental health. She is the Founder, CEO, and Clinical Director of Kinder in the Keys, a premier residential mental health treatment center for women.
With a Doctorate in Public Health in Prevention and Lifestyle Medicine, along with advanced training in psychology, marriage and family therapy, and human biology, Dr. Tanzini brings a uniquely integrative approach to treatment that combines clinical excellence with lifestyle-based healing.
Her experience spans over two decades and includes academic teaching, clinical supervision, and frontline crisis intervention with military service members and families, where she assessed PTSD and suicide risk in high-acuity environments.
Dr. Tanzini has founded and scaled multiple treatment programs, including a full-service counseling center offering RTC, PHP, IOP, and trauma-focused care. At Kinder in the Keys, she has built a Joint Commission-accredited program specializing in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, narcissistic abuse recovery, and eating disorders.
